Dr Grace Gassin, Te Papa’s Curator Asian New Zealand Histories, will introduce some of the museum’s objects on display and back-of-house that tell the stories of early migrant-settlers and contemporary Asian Tauiwi communities Aotearoa. This includes some of the antiracist objects Te Papa has collected since the Covid-19 pandemic began, and taonga from Chinese, Indian, Filipino, and Vietnamese communities. Each session will conclude with a Q&A tea break with Grace.

FREE, however due to space restrictions — capacity is limited to 15 people per session — registration is essential.
