Te Papa Asian Aotearoa Collection Tour

Dr Grace Gassin, Te Papa’s Curator Asian New Zealand Histories, will introduce some of the museum’s objects on display and back-of-house that tell the stories of early migrant-settlers and contemporary Chinese New Zealand and Asian Tauiwi communities Aotearoa. This includes some of the antiracist objects Te Papa has collected since the Covid-19 pandemic began. The tour will conclude with an afternoon tea Q & A with Gassin and Public Programmes Specialist Emma Ng.
